The result is not a set of posed images but a record of relationships and emotions, held in photographs that will matter years from now.

I am Yasha Vasilyev, the founder and lead photographer of Seraphis Collective. Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, but weddings drew me in for a simple reason, they are full of truth. There is no rehearsal for real laughter or tears, no script for the way two people look at each other when they commit to a life together. My role is to see those moments and preserve them with honesty. While Seraphis is a collective, my own hand is present in shaping its vision and holding it to a standard of care.
Outside of weddings I love watiching TV (my current fav is Succession), mountain biking, and learning new things. I’m also working on a few personal photo projects as well, feel free to check them out on instagram: @yv_shoots
